dc.description.abstractThis paper explores the central role of entrepreneurship in the development of U.S. businesses through in-depth analysis, especially the significant impact in the automotive industry. Choosing Ford Motor and Tesla Motors as case studies, the paper reveals how entrepreneurship effectively drives technological innovation, market expansion, and industrial change, which in turn has a profound impact on the entire economic structure, social culture, and environmental sustainability.
The study shows that the core elements of innovative thinking, risk-taking, value creation, and social responsibility constitute an indispensable driving force for the development of the U.S. automobile industry and the entire enterprise. This thesis is divided into five main parts. The first part introduces the background, motivation, purpose and research methodology of the study. The second part explores the role of entrepreneurship in enterprise development, analyzes the concept, origin, and historical evolution of entrepreneurship, emphasizes the key role of innovation in capitalist economic growth, and reveals how entrepreneurship has guided entrepreneurs from profit motivation to embracing charity and altruism. The third part analyzes the enterprise development model of U.S. firms, revealing the impact of entrepreneurship on the development model of U.S. firms and the impact of entrepreneurship on the development of Chinese firms. In the fourth part of the case study, the paper delves into how two iconic companies, Ford Motor and Tesla Motors, embody entrepreneurial spirit, and how this spirit has led them to succeed in the fiercely competitive marketplace, and what kind of transformative impact it has had on the industry and even the global automotive market. Through in-depth analysis of these specific cases, this paper not only demonstrates the practical role of entrepreneurship in driving firm growth and industry innovation, but also emphasizes the importance of this spirit in addressing global challenges. Part V summarizes the conclusions and looks forward to future research directions. The paper emphasizes that fostering and encouraging entrepreneurship is crucial for driving economic development, moving society forward and addressing global challenges. At the same time, the paper points out several aspects that need to be further explored in depth in future research, including how entrepreneurship leads to new market changes and technological innovations, the interaction between entrepreneurship and social responsibility, the study of entrepreneurship from a cross-cultural perspective, and the impact of the policy environment on entrepreneurship. Through these research outlooks, this dissertation aims to provide more in-depth understanding and strategic recommendations for promoting the role of entrepreneurship in China's economy and society, thereby contributing to the sustained development of China's economy and society.
