| dc.description.abstract | 本論文分為兩個部分:前半部為《機械》劇本翻譯,後半部則為作品分析。
《機械》是一齣表現主義劇作,改編自美國1920年代一樁引起社會轟動的真實案件——Ruth Snyder弒夫案。與當時主流媒體對女性犯罪者充滿偏見的報導不同,劇作家透過劇本創作深究該案件背後的複雜性,並探討社會體制、工作環境、家庭關係與大眾媒體對個體所產生的影響。 作品分析涵蓋創作的時代背景、劇作家生平、劇本分析、翻譯論述以及舞台演出歷史等。透過閱讀、整理並分析相關研究資料,試圖呈現該劇作的文化價值和歷史定位。 | zh_TW |
| dc.description.abstract | This thesis is divided into two parts: the first half is a translation of the script of Machinal, and the second half is an analysis of the work.
Machinal is an expressionist play based on the true story of the Ruth Snyder murder case in the United States in the 1920s, which caused a social uproar. In contrast to the mainstream media's biased coverage of female murderers at the time, the playwright attempts to explore the complexities behind the case and the impact of social institutions, work environments, family relationships and mass media on individuals through the creation of the play. The analysis of the work covers the historical background of the play, the biography of the playwright, the script analysis, translation discussion, and the history of stage performances. Through reviewing, collating, and analyzing relevant research materials, I aim to present the cultural value and historical significance of the play. | en |
