試探儒家家庭觀在臺灣挺／反同婚運動中的角色

Abstract

本論文從2018年的婚姻平權公投出發，試圖剖析基督教如何成功動員反同婚勢力，特別是基督教與儒家在反同婚動員中的結盟。在臺灣，通常針對反同婚動員，都預設揉合了「基督教性觀念」與「儒家家庭觀」，但兩者具體如何揉合，且如何促使社會動員發生，則是既有研究中很少被釐清的問題。

另一方面，儘管挺同婚成員對於「儒家家庭觀」阻止同婚相關法律通過不以為然，然而「儒家家庭觀」當中的部份價值（例如孝順），也成為挺同婚成員在議題攻防上的利器，這部份在現有文獻中亦甚少提及背後脈絡；因此，研究「儒家家庭觀」對於挺同婚勢力的影響程度，也是需要被釐清的問題。

為討論儒家家庭觀在同婚運動中扮演的角色，本計畫梳理了中國歷史上儒家家庭觀的發展，並探討其如何引進臺灣。最後回顧了相關文獻，提出目前在臺灣同婚運動及反同婚動員研究之缺口。本研究以質性研究方法——包括針對挺同組織／反同組織生產文本之話語分析，以及訪談支持／反對同婚之不同立場者，試圖更瞭解同婚運動中儒家家庭觀扮演的角色。

同時，因應社群媒體興起，本研究也將探討支持／反對同婚之不同立場者使用社群媒體的習慣，以及社群媒體上的行為是否影響其同婚立場。

The thesis starts from the 2018 marriage equality referendum and attempts to analyze how Christianity successfully mobilized anti-gay marriage forces, especially the alliance between Christianity and Confucianism in the anti-gay marriage mobilization. In Taiwan, anti-gay marriage mobilizations usually presuppose a combination of "Christian sexual concepts" and "Confucian family values." However, how the two are specifically combined and how to promote social mobilization are still unclear in existing research. A question that is rarely clarified.

On the other hand, although members who support same-sex marriage are not convinced that "Confucian family values" prevent the passage of laws related to same-sex marriage, some of the values in "Confucian family values" (such as filial piety) have also become members who support same-sex marriage in attacking and defending issues. Sharp weapon, this part has rarely mentioned the context behind it in the existing literature; therefore, studying the influence of "Confucian family view" on the forces supporting same-sex marriage is also an issue that needs to be clarified.

In order to discuss the role of the Confucian family view in the same-sex marriage movement, this project combs the development of the Confucian family view in Chinese history and explores how it was introduced to Taiwan. Finally, the relevant literature is reviewed and the gaps in the current research on the gay marriage movement and anti-gay marriage mobilization in Taiwan are pointed out. This study seeks to use qualitative research methods, including discourse analysis of texts produced by pro-gay and anti-gay organizations, and interviews with people with different positions supporting and opposing same-sex marriage, in an attempt to better understand the role of Confucian family views in the same-sex marriage movement.

At the same time, in response to the rise of social media, this study will also explore the social media usage habits of people with different stances for/against same-sex marriage, and whether their behavior on social media affects their stance on same-sex marriage.
