zh_TW
This study explores the transformation of eye care services through the development of an innovative, patient-centered ecosystem. It examines the value chain of eye care delivery and proposes a modular and standardized approach to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes. The study also underlines the importance of disruptive innovations, particularly the integration of digital technology, telemedicine, and artificial intelligence, in broadening access to care and improving service quality. The importance of task- shifting, standardized training, and robust partnerships among various stakeholders is emphasized to ensure a cohesive and effective eye care delivery system. Despite potential challenges, including resistance to change and technological adoption, the study concludes that this innovative ecosystem holds significant potential for enhancing the eye care sector. Future research should focus on addressing the highlighted limitations and further refining this proposed ecosystem model for eye care services.en
