dc.description.abstract本篇論文以自然的觀察者為核心,探討湯瑪士.哈代《一雙藍眼睛》小說所呈現的自然。在這部小說中,自然被視為闡釋作者獨特的美學的動能因素。過去有關哈代如何描繪自然的研究,學者側重於兩大核心:視覺技法的呈現以及當代科學發展的背景。基於以上研究,本篇論文發展出兩種自然觀察的模式—牛頓式的觀察者以及達爾文式的觀察者—作為新的觀點,探討《一雙藍眼睛》中自然的再現。我藉此觀點分析作品中敘事者如何在這兩種觀察模式中轉換,並主張《一雙藍眼睛》雖為哈代早期的作品,卻已經充分展現了他對當代科學與人文論戰的參與及關懷。zh_TW
