| 摘要: | 近年來,行動裝置以及平板電腦越來越受歡迎。因此,人們在觸控面板上打字的時間越來越多。然而,由於其缺乏一般實體鍵盤的觸覺回饋,在觸控面板上打字需要更多的視覺專注力,且容易產生輸入的不確定性。因此,人們較容易感到疲累,且會造成打字速度的降低以及錯誤率的上升。
由於單純依靠視覺感知是一個很大的負擔,許多研究使用多感官來協助打字。回饋也可以透過聲音來提供,然而聽覺回饋可能會讓使用者感到不愉快或是打擾,且可能會被環境噪音掩蓋而失去效用。在本篇研究,將提供觸覺回饋以期增進使用者的打字表現。壓電致動器被選用來提供多種模式的觸覺回饋,因為其有輕便、反應快且易控制等優點。多維尺度分析會用來取得具有辨識度的振動組合。本研究建立了一個觸控面板的觸覺回饋系統,並且進行了人因測試來探討不同模式的觸覺回饋對打字表現的影響。結果顯示,適當數量的觸回饋種類可以在打字速度,打字效率以及錯誤率得到較佳的表現。 In recent years, mobile devices and tablets become more popular. Therefore, people spend more time on typing on touchscreens than on physical keyboards. However, typing on touchscreens requires more visual attention and causes typing uncertainty because it lacks of tactile feedback compared to the physical keyboards. As a result, people may become wearied easily, and the typing speed may decrease while typing errors increase. Since it is a great burden to type relying solely on visual perception, many researchers started to study using multisensory to assist typing. Feedback could be provided by sound, as well; however, auditory feedback might annoy users and be covered by environment noise. In this study, tactile feedback is provided, expecting to increase users’ typing performance. Piezoelectric actuator is chosen to provide multimode tactile feedback for its light size, fast response, and controllability. Multidimensional scaling (MDS) is used to find the discriminable stimuli sets. A tactile feedback system for touchscreen is established and a user test is held to examine the effect of different tactile feedback on typing performance. The results show that appropriate number of tactile feedback types obtained better typing performance in most scales (higher typing speed, higher typing efficiency, and lower error rate). |
