Fastbook全自動借書站使用者之行為與態度 —以臺北市立圖書館個案為例

Abstract

Fastbook 全自動借書站透過RFID 技術實現圖書館的自助服務，使社會大眾借閱讀圖書管道更多元，更降低圖書館增設分館的成本，提升國民的閱讀風氣。目前台北市立圖書館有10座Fastbook全自動借書站運行中，關於FASTBOOK全自動借書站的研究並不多。基於前述的背景與動機，本研究鎖定FASTBOOK全自動借書站，經由訪談負責FASTBOOK全自動借書站營運的圖書館人員與建置維護的廠商，了解Fastbook全自動借書站的服務現況。並透過設置現場發放紙本和線上問卷調查，共計回收186 份有效問卷進行資料分析。並將訪談內容經整理成文字稿後，結合問卷統計結果，最後歸納為研究成果。 研究結果顯示:(1) 館方對10座Fastbook全自動借書站的運行成效持肯定的態度，未來在預算許可下可擇地增設。(2)民眾推薦建置的地點以人潮多的捷運站和火車站最受優先選擇，希望圖書館繼續增設。(3)民眾認為Fastbook全自動借書站是創新的圖書自助服務。(4)Fastbook全自動借書站服務增加民眾的圖書閱讀頻率、改變獲取圖書的方式和習慣、滿足不便到圖書館使用的需求。 根據以上的研究成果，對有計畫設置Fastbook全自動借書站的圖書館 提出五點建議(1)透過有效率的補書物流體系來保持書架上的圖書數量(2)圖書查詢系統增加作者檢索、查詢結果增加作者與書籍介紹，方便讀者選擇所需圖書。(3)除了暢銷書，亦可考慮增加外文書、學齡前圖書、漫畫、期刊雜誌的館藏以滿足讀者多元閱讀需求。(4)對於供旅客族群使用的設置地點，可設於周圍有座椅或設置專用閱覽區，供等車民眾使用。(5)開放24小時提供讀者使用。

Fastbook automatic book station realizes the self-service of the library through RFID technology, so that the public can borrow more reading pipelines, reduce the cost of additional branches of the library, and enhance the national reading atmosphere. At present, there are 10 Fastbook automatic book stations in Taipei City Library. Based on the aforementioned background and motivation, this study locked the FASTBOOK automatic book station. Through interviews with the library staff and construction and maintenance vendors responsible for the operation of the FASTBOOK automatic book station, we learned about the service status of the Fastbook automatic book station. A total of 186 valid questionnaires were collected for data analysis by setting up on-site paper and online questionnaire surveys. After finishing the interview content into a text draft, combined with the statistical results of the questionnaire, it is finally summarized into the research results. The results of the study show that: (1) The library has a positive attitude towards the operation of the 10 Fastbook automatic book stations, and it can be optionally added in the future under budget permission. (2) The most preferred location recommended by the public is crowded with MRT Stations and train stations , the public hope that the library will continue to add (3) People think that Fastbook automatic book station is an innovative book self-service (4) Fastbook automatic book station service increase the frequency of reading and change access ways and habits of books, to meet the needs of inconvenience to the library. Based on the above research results, five suggestions for libraries with plans to set up Fastbook automatic book stations (1) Maintain the number of books on the shelf through an efficient book supplement logistics system (2) Add authors retrieval to the book query system and query results add authors and book introductions to facilitate readers to select the books they need. (3) In addition to best-selling books, you can also consider increasing the collection of foreign books, preschool books, comics, periodicals and magazines to meet the readers ’multiple reading needs. (4) For the location of the passenger group, it can be set around a seat or set up a dedicated reading area for people waiting for cars (5) Open 24 hours for readers.
