dc.description.abstract在利用二氧化碳萃取大型海藻以研究其脂肪成份的同時,我們在藻體中發現了脂肪酸、碳氫化合物、抗真菌劑等成份。除此之外,在十種海藻樣品中皆存在有鄰苯二甲酸2-乙基已酯(Di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate,DEHP)和鄰苯二甲酸丁酯(Di-n-butyl phthalate,DBP)這兩種鄰苯二甲酸酯。
鄰苯二甲酸酯為石化工業中的重要產品,主要應用於軟性塑膠製品,在諸多產物中,DEHP和DBP為使用率最高的兩種化合物。由於DEHP和DBP在生理上的重要影響及在藻體中普遍發現此二化合物,探究其來源便成為本研究之主題。我們採取了兩種實驗來證實藻類可自行合成鄰苯二甲酸酯,一是比較天然海水與人工海水培養下的頭髮菜絲狀體,其鄰苯二甲酸酯含量上的變化情形;另一則以放射性碳之碳酸氫鈉作為藻體生長之部份碳源,培養若干時日後,分離藻體內之鄰苯二甲酸酯並測定其放射性含量。至於環境污染的程度或其他環境條件是否影響及於藻體內鄰苯二甲酸酯的含量,則以分析本省北部不同海域中同種的海藻,及在相同環境控制條件下不同紅藻絲狀體其鄰苯二甲酸酯在含量上的差異。
海藻中所含有的多鍵不飽和脂肪酸是人類生長所必需的,其中的二十碳五烯酸(20 : 5ω3,Eicosapentaenoic acid,EPA)可防止動脈血管硬化及減少心臟血管疾病的發生。魚油及微細藻是目前EPA的兩大來源,但魚油不易純化及萃取,微細藻收成時必須離心致使其成本偏高皆是當前困難所在。而紅藻絲狀體因易於培養、收成及富含EPA,是新的健康食品來源。本研究以紅藻絲狀體為材料,並分析其脂肪酸組成,期能找出富含EPA的藻種,作為日後大量培養之依據。
