dc.description.abstract鯖科魚類(Scombrid fishes)為台灣重要漁業資源之一,尤其鯖、鰹兩類更為近海漁業中重要之漁獲物。此類經濟魚類之生物條件的瞭解息息相關於漁場的管理及預測。仔稚魚係指魚類生活史中的幼稚階段,它的數量和分佈,在漁業生物學的理論建構中占舉足輕重的角色,它與親代系群(parent stock)的產卵及洄游等生態習性直接相關。因此,本文即是以台灣產鯖科仔稚魚之初步分類工作為主,另外針對此科魚類於本省周圍水域分佈之情形加以探討,以做為漁業生物學研究的先驅。
本研究之標本主要係由過去三年(1988-1990)之14個航次中取得,共計有仔稚魚標本2694尾,分為7屬13種,以其發育階段而言,由preflexion至postflexion間之仔魚佔多數;而就種類而言,以Auxis sp.為最多(34.82%),其次是平花鰹,Auxis thazard(22.23%),再次則為花腹鯖,Scomber australasicus(22.05%)。
本研究將鯖科仔稚魚之標本鑑定至種之層次,經整理比對後,並將科內各魚種之主要外部形態圖示之。為了便利日後鑑定,並建立一檢索表。此外,為了初步表示台灣產鯖科仔稚魚種類之關係,筆者以其preflexion仔魚之外部形態形質,利用聚類分析法(Clustering analysis)分析,其結果以表型圖(phenogram)表示。對於發現之每一種魚依據其出現之測站也繪成該種之分佈圖,由結果大致可看出Scomber多位於沿岸區域,而Thunnus多位於較遠洋之區域,由於本研究之測站大多於臺灣東部海域,因此僅作為日後研究者之參考。
