| dc.description.abstract | 自民國74年9月至76年5月間在溪頭林區內，對大赤鼯進行追蹤觀察，以瞭解其個體行為、社會行為及活動範圍和巢的利用。實驗區為人工改造後的環境，包括人造針葉林及遊憩區。 區內共發現12個大赤鼯鼠的睡眠場所，其中3個在75年8月23日韋恩颱風前為鼯鼠所利用，具永久性的架構。其餘9個均為颱風過後才發現。睡眠場所可分為4種類型：(1)樹洞巢2個；(2)崖薑蕨巢2個；(3)針葉樹之枝葉叢巢7個；(4)自營巢1個。 針對兩隻經常在實驗區內出現的個體自75年6至8月的資料所得之活動範圍分別為3.45公頃及3.01公頃，活動核心區域面積分別為1.75公頃及1.39公頃。 大赤鼯鼠的個體行為包括攝食、休息、修飾、移動及鳴叫等。社會行為包括親子間的友好及衝突，性行為(求偶、交配及同性跨騎)，以及陌生個體間的衝突行為。一天的活動中以攝食所佔比例最高(79.11%)，其次為休息(14.48%)，修飾行為只佔6.41%。活動模式大致為雙?型，在20點至22點間及清晨回巢前為攝食活動的高?。大赤鼯鼠為夜行性動物，大致在日落後即離巢開始活動，除一次例外，均至日出前始回巢睡眠。出巢及回巢時間均隨季節而變化，在巢外的活動時間夏季較短，冬季較長。 | zh_TW |
