dc.description.abstract | 大多數的哺乳動物只有一份胰島素基因,然而在小家鼠(Mus musculus)及溝鼠(Rattus norvegicus)的基因體中卻含有兩份,分別為preproinsulin I及preproinsulinII基因。前者是以後者的mRNA為中間媒介,經由反轉位過程(retrotrans-position)所產生的重複基因。 本研究透過南方轉漬的結果與過去文獻中對重複基因誕生與死亡速率的估計,推論小家鼠及溝鼠胰島素重複基因(preproinsulin I)起源的時間較有可能在鼠科動物進行輻射演化之前(即一千六百八十萬至一千九百萬年前),並在演化的過程當中發生2次的以上的重複基因消失,鼠亞科(Murinae)動物的胰島素重複基因在一千兩百萬年演化的過程中都保留下來,並未從基因體中丟失。 研究中所得到的另一項重要結果是,透過對高山田鼠(Microtus kikuchii)胰島素基因的選殖發現其基因體中唯一的一份胰島素基因與鼠亞科的preproinsulin II基因同源,這說明其在演化的過程中所保留的為胰島素母基因而非重複基因。 本論文的結論是根據過去文獻中對重複基因誕生的速率推測而來,假如胰島素基因在鼠科動物中重複的速率遠高於其估計的值,則將有另一種胰島素重複基因的演化歷史來解釋鼠科動物胰島素基因在各分類群中份數的分佈。 | zh_TW |
