跨領域學術創業–以憂鬱症診療新創公司為例

Abstract

近年除了教育部積極補助學校，鼓勵教授貢獻學術能量於社會外，社會也對學術界有許多期待。有些教授被企業聘請擔任顧問，也有些正在進行「學術創業」的過程。但若觀察教授「學術創業」的例子，可說是非常少見，成功者更是寥寥可數。 本篇論文使用個案研究的方法，實際加入台大目前創業進度最快的台大電子所陳中平教授的研究室團隊，在為期7個月的過程中，參與團隊的營運決策、制定商業模式，並共同參加科技部的FITI創新創業激勵競賽，藉由和團隊密切的合作，分析出學術創業的成功要素，另外也以團隊領隊洪碩宏博士從電機跨入生醫領域的背景，研究「跨領域」對學術創業的幫助。 最後，除了「跨領域」與「學術創業」兩個研究目標外，透過研究本個案團隊的創業歷程，也可以得到其他啟示。希望藉由本研究的結論與個案啟示，對有志於學術創業的團隊帶來幫助，提升創業成功的機會。

Society has high expectations for academia and Ministry of Education has subsidized schools these years. Some professors were hired as consultants of companies and some are in the process of Academic Entrepreneurship. However, Academic Entrepreneurship is still very rare, and there were few professors who actually succeeded. This research uses case study methods by personally being in a laboratory group of professor Chung-Ping Chen, whose entrepreneurship progress is ahead of other groups for seven months. During these months, by participating in the group’s operating strategies, making business models, participating in FITI program(From IP to IPO program) of Ministry of Science and Technology, this research has analyzed success factors of Academic Entrepreneurship. In addition, the group’s leader, Shuo-Hong, Hong’s background is from Electrical Engineering to Biomedical Engineering, so this research also discusses whether cross-field background is helpful to Academic Entrepreneurship. Finally, in addition to Academic Entrepreneurship and Interdisciplinary, by understanding the start-up process of this group can also obtain many other inspirations. This research’s purpose is to help other Academic Entrepreneurship groups and make them succeed more easily.
