| dc.description.abstract | 以往心理學的中文字詞分析研究，分析對象多為一般民眾，較缺乏對高權威者的言論探討者，以及較少探討整體文化與社會變遷的特性。本研究以台灣至2018年年底為止的四位民選總統為分析對象，並以中華民國總統府網站上1992年至2018年年底，共4020筆的各總統歷年公開發言逐字稿為分析文本，並分析文本中的代名詞使用率，以探討各總統言論中反映的個體風格，也進一步結合經濟成長率與年均失業率，討論歷年社會經濟狀況對總統心理狀態的可能影響。研究結果顯示分析代名詞所顯示的總統個人特質，大致與過往質性研究多有相符；而歷年來的第一人稱單數代名詞與兩經濟指標皆具顯著相關，第一人稱複數代名詞則無，此結果所反映者，相對於西方類似研究指出的個人或集體主義，本研究認為，應是表徵總統面對經濟波動下的內心負面感受起伏影響；而進一步進行多層次分析後，則發現各總統面對經濟狀況變動下的語言風格殊異。本研究以量化觀點切入，了解總統言論中反映的個體面與社會面議題，期許能為相關研究提出新的方向。 | zh_TW |
| dc.description.abstract | The topics of Chinese text analysis studies in psychology are mainly focused on the general public, thereby lacking in the features of political leaders and social changes. The current study analyzed 4020 texts from four elected presidents of Taiwan (Lee Teng-hui, Chen Shui-bian, Ma Ying-jeou and Tsai Ing-wen) spanning from 1992 to the end of 2018 on the website of Office of the President to investigate the individual styles reflected by usage of pronouns in corpora, and also examine the influence of social economy over the years upon psychological conditions of presidents by combining economic growth rate and annual unemployment rate into the analysis. The results revealed that the personal characteristics of the presidents shown by the usage of pronouns are roughly consistent with previous qualitative studies. The usage rates of first-person singular pronoun over the years are significantly correlated with the two economic indicators over the years, whereas the first-person plural pronouns are not. Instead of individualism or collectivism indicated in American research, the results of the correlations represented is the negative emotion of the presidents affected by the fluctuations of social economy. In further analysis of hierarchical linear model, the discrepancies of language styles between each president when confronting with changing social economy are found.
