摘要: | 《雨月物語》為上田秋成繼浮世草子《諸道聽耳世間猿》《世間妾形氣》的出版後,初次嘗試讀本創作而成的作品,因此這部作品保留了前兩部作品的特質,筆下人物常有超出世人認知範圍的個性、執著之展現。這部作品在構成上受秋成醫學上的老師,同時也是讀本作家的都賀庭鐘的《英草紙》《繁野話》之影響,共五卷九篇。故事內容多為明清白話小說之翻案,描寫主角遭遇怨靈、妖怪,與這些異類產生互動,以及透過與怪異的相遇,主角發生了何種轉變。
本論文著眼於人與怪異之互動,並著重在這當中產生的對立與衝突,探討秋成如何透過這些立場不同的角色,展現身為江戶上方知識人對當代社會的觀察。筆者在這九篇當中選擇了(一)人物主張互相對立的〈白峯〉(二)展現夢的兩種不同面向的〈夢応の鯉魚〉(三)突出角色形象前後轉變的〈蛇性の婬〉(四)體現兩種不同思考模式的〈貧福論〉,透過這四篇文本的分析,抽取各篇的原創部分,以角色的觀點進行剖析,可以知道秋成對當代的倫理、藝術、理想、命運之看法。 透過書寫虛構故事來展現現實社會,並對讀者產生影響,這是文學的功能之一,也是秋成所秉持的物語觀。若將現實定義為客觀環境以及包含感官、思想與語言的現象,則這個現實將根據個人主觀認定產生不同,進而產生多樣的解釋。在《雨月物語》的這四篇中,角色根據自己的個性特質,對同一客觀事物產生相對的認知,便是體現了現實的這種複雜性。 'Ugetsu Monogatari' (雨月物語) is a work created by Akinari Ueda (上田秋成) after he wrote 'Syoudou kikimimi sekenzaru' (諸道聽耳世間猿) and 'seken tekake katagi' (世間妾形氣) , which belonging to Ukiyozōshi (浮世草子)literature. Therefore , this work retains the characteristics of the first two works. The characters often have personality and perseverance that are beyond the scope of the world's cognition. This work is influenced by Akinari 's medical teacher ,also known as the Yomihon (読本)writer, Teisyou Tsuka 's (都賀庭鐘)work 'hanabusa zoushi'(英草紙) and 'shigeshige yawa'(繁野話).'Ugetsu Monogatari' comprises nine articles with five volumes .The content of the story is mostly the reversion of the vernacular novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, describing how the protagonist changed through the encounter with ghosts and monsters. This thesis focuses on the interaction between the characters and the confrontations and conflicts that arise from characters. Akinari use these different positions to show the observation of contemporary society. This thesis chooses (1) ‘Shiramine’(白峯) where characters stand against each other (2) ‘muou no rigyo’ (夢応の鯉魚)which shows two different aspects of dreams (3)‘Jyaseinoin’(蛇性の婬)which highlights the change of character (4) ‘hinpukuron’(貧福論)which reflects two different modes of thinking. Through the analysis of these four articles, including extracting the original parts of articles, and analyzing the perspective of characters, We can understand Akinari ' view on contemporary ethics, art, ideals and destiny. It is one of the functions of literature to express the real society and influence readers by writing fictional stories. It is also the view of storytelling held by Akinari. If reality is defined as an objective environment and a phenomenon that contains senses, thoughts, and language, then this reality will be different according to individual subjective identification, and then produce a variety of interpretations. In these four articles in ' Ugetsu Monogatari ', the characters' relative recognition of the same objective things according to their own personality traits reflects this complexity of reality. |
