This business plan is purposely conduct to determine whether a luxury clothes rental business is suitable for Cambodia and future expansion throughout Southeast Asia. Within the last few years, luxury goods sale have gone up histrionically within Asia region. Particularly, Southeast Asian has imprinted the mind-set of “the bigger the brand equal the higher the status” which results in a higher expense, limited fashion choice, and out of wardrobe space. I recognized the opportunity in planning at offer a luxury clothes rental service with Celebrities’ wardrobe collection as part of our supplement products. Celebrity e-Closet will have both retail and online stores. The retail store will be located in one of the most of the popular hangout spots for the Cambodian’s elites. Our main products are luxury name brand products include dresses, handbags, shoes, and accessories (ring, necklace, watch, belt, etc.). Our secondary products are Celebrities’ wardrobe and runway designers’ collections. People can place their order via online and come to our store for pick up where our in store personal stylists will provide fashion advise service if needed. We want to create our brand image as an elite clothes rental service that reflects the social status mind-set that most of our customers’ have. Our business concept is luxury and elite but affordable price. The whole proposal includes introduction, description of the products and services,
and overall analysis of e-commerce, sharing economy, luxury goods, and rental service industry analysis. Our in deep financial analysis is mainly to determine if our return on investment would be profitable which include start-up costs, sources and use of funds, yearly demand forecast, project income statement and cash flow, and lastly is to ensure our operation will break even. The purpose of this business plan is to consider as many relevant factors as possible and to compile information and date in order to have a more accurate plan. After all, a business plan is not a static document, but a document that requires several modifications as the business develops.
