利用資料探勘技術預測顧客購買行為－以連鎖零售業為例

Abstract

在全通路零售模式下，消費者購物的所有行為皆能進行分析，進而預測消費者購物偏好及消費習慣，助於了解消費者行為特徵，管理顧客關係，改善消費者體驗。 本研究透過資料探勘與機器學習方法，將某連鎖超市2009年至2010年之會員資料及包含買米的交易紀錄資料建模成顧客購買行為預測模型。 建立預測模型分為三階段：第一階段透過隨機森林演算法預測下次顧客購買日期與下次消費購買金額區間；第二階段透過多種機器學習演算法(如類神經網路、隨機森林、SVM 等) 預測下次顧客消費品；第三階段透過決策樹進行消費者群集預測，因消費者購買行為會隨時改變，故顧客每次光顧都應重新判斷所屬群集，以正確掌握顧客即時購買行為，研究結果顯示此模型能有效預測顧客購買行為。 本研究分析，若連鎖零售業導入顧客行為預測系統，將可得到提升顧客關係管理、降低成本及提升生產力等競爭優勢。

This paper describes a prototype that predicts the shopping lists for customer in retail chain. This paper used Decision tree, Random forest and other methods to analyze historical purchase data of the chain supermarket in Taiwan to develop a model to predict the customer’s future purchases patterns, to predict the next time customers will come, how much they will spend, what categories they will buy. For retailers, the result is not only can decrease costs and increase revenues by smart prediction, but also enhance customer experience and loyalty by giving them the tools to individually interact with customers and anticipate their needs.
