dc.description.abstract我們成功設計並演示了以液晶為基底的光偏折器,此偏折器利用於超廣視域裸眼式三維立體顯示系統。此光偏折範圍共36度,在此範圍內的光束平均發散角為0.155度。此光偏折器分成兩個部分:一為利用折射定律和雙折射特性的液晶定向光柵,此光柵的週期為0.1毫米且光柵角度為25度;二為由三個非球面表面構成的角度放大器。為了避免影像失真,我們希望光經過光偏折器後依然保持平行。首先,在角度放大器部分,再經過模擬Kepler、Galilean和修正版Kepler望遠鏡系統架構後,由於修正版Kepler系統的穿透光發散最低,於是我們選擇了修正版Kepler系統。在選定系統架構後,我們最佳化非球面鏡的參數並且成功地降低了偏折影像的失真。另一方面,將此光偏折器利用超廣視域裸眼式三維立體顯示系統的可能性也由影像模擬而得到驗證。除此之外,為了驗證此光偏折器能真證實線,我們做了樣品,然而,由於樣品製作上的缺失,此實驗沒有成功。在論文的最後,我們討論了模擬和實驗進步的可能性以及規劃了未來展望。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractA liquid-crystal (LC) based beam steering device for a super-multi-view auto-stereoscopic display has been successfully designed and simulated. The steering range of the device is around 36 degree (full-angle) and the average beam divergence is 0.155 degree. The beam steering device is composed of two sub parts. The first one is a LC-based grating based on the law of refraction and the characteristic of a birefringent material. The period of the grating is 0.1mm and the angle of the small prism is 25 degree. The second one is an angular magnification device with three aspherical lenses. In order to keep the displayed image undistorted, we want the steered beam to keep its collimation. We simulated with the Kepler, the Galilean and the modified Kepler telescopic configuration and adopted the modified Kepler one due to the minimum divergence of the transmitted beam. We then optimized the configuration with aspherical surfaces and the optimization successfully decreases the image distortion. The possibility to accomplish realistic 3-D image (super-multi-view) was also confirmed with the images simulation. The beam steering concept was experimentally verified but was no success due to a manufacturing problem. Feedbacks on simulation and fabrication as well as the future perspectives are given in the end of this thesis.en
