音樂系畢業生的夢與現實─幻滅還是重建？

Abstract

台灣出生率逐年遞減，孩子愈來愈少的情況影響到音樂系的學生，音樂系學生畢業後大多以教小孩音樂為主要職業，無論在學校或家教，小孩是音樂系畢業生的主要收入來源，有些音樂系畢業生於是面臨到收入不穩定，對未來感到徬徨。 研究發現台灣的音樂班設置過多，培育出過多音樂人才，造成供過於求。因此不太可能每位音樂系學生畢業後都能當音樂老師，必須擁有第二專長，和其他領域結合，或是轉換跑道，離開音樂圈找尋其他工作。但台灣彰化縣營運七年的「彰化縣弦樂團發展聯盟」，竟成功提升音樂普及教育，讓彰化縣大部分中、小學孩子能夠學音樂，也提供音樂老師工作機會，或許將能解決音樂人才過多的問題。

In Taiwan the birth rate declines year by year. Such situation puts great influence on students of Musical Departments. Most of Musical Department graduated students make a living by teaching, as a school teacher or a tutor. Some Musical Department students feel bewildered about their future because of the decline of birth rate. According to the research, musical training courses are provided more than needed in Taiwan, which results in the over-supplication of musical professionals. Thus, it is barely possible that there is enough opportunity of teaching career for every Musical Department graduates – they have to cultivate second professions, combine their original musical profession with other fields, or switch to another way, that is, to exit from the musical field and enter new ones. However, “Chuang-hua County Orchestra Development Coalition”, which has been running for over seven years in Chang-hua County, improve the popularization of music education successfully, giving children a chance to learn music. It also offering jobs to music teacher. Probably, the issue about the over-supplication of musical professionals would be resolved.
