摘要: | 隨著通訊系統不斷地演進,頻譜的需求不斷地增加,營運商之間的整合也變得相形重要,而機器形式的通訊(MTC)已經被預期將會是造成未來網路壅塞的很重要的應用之一,根據機器通訊的一些特性,在本篇論文中,我們提出並驗證兩種可以由運營商頻譜分享技術帶來的好處,第一個好處在於增加系統容量(System Throughput)與改善頻譜使用效率,在改進頻譜效率的趨勢之下,跨運營商間頻譜分享技術在提升系統頻譜使用效率與平衡系統負載的議題上面具有相當的潛力,在本篇論文裡,我們利用賽局理論(Game Theory)的概念提出了一個分散式的決策機制,透過基地台的廣播訊號的協助,每一個使用者判斷其適當的決策,最後透過固定點理論(Fixed-Point Theorem),我們證明系統將會收斂至一個奈許平衡點(Nash Equilibrium),並且至少增進整體系統效能達30%。這個分散式的演算法提供運營商在不需要建置訊息溝通管道的前提下達到系統間頻譜分享,但是相反地也必須要付出廣播所使用的訊息消耗跟切換成本(Handover Cost),另外本篇論文也進一步驗證演算法仍可以應用在非同步的廣播情境下。
第二個跨運營商間頻譜分享的好處在於擴大潛在的感測器數量並以此降低運營商佈建的感測器成本與增加系統的堅固程度,我們利用偷聽(Overhearing)的技術,重新利用運營商在非其執照頻帶的閒置資源來增加其潛在感測器的數量。利用賽局理論(Game Theory),我們證 明透過不同程度的偷聽(Overhearing)技術,營運商能夠透過營運商間的合作達到感測器佈建成本的降低。以上兩個好處能夠勾勒出未來通訊系統簡單的輪廓。 It is predictable that spectrum resources need to be managed well from underutilization with the growth of various wireless applications. Machine Type Communication (MTC) is one of the applications predicted to be the main application causing traffic congestion. According to some properties of MTC network, in this thesis we demonstrate the benefits we can obtain after introducing Inter-operator Spectrum Sharing. The benefits include the improvement of spectrum efficiency and cost reduction of sensor deployment. In the first scenario, distributed game theory and concept of vertical handover are applied to design a distributed algorithm for each users to choose the proper operators. Two types of Nash equilibriums are shown to be reachable in the form of discrete actions and probabilities. This gives the operators the benefit not to construct the information exchange infrastructure. Instead, broadcasting and some requirements are needed such as handover cost. For cost reduction of sensor deployment, overhearing technique enlarges the potential sensors pool for each operators. Game theory is used to analyze the operators' interactions in deploying and renting behaviors. This thesis analyzes two possibilities to implement spectrum sharing among operators in MTC network and shows that the mechanism can still work in the scenario of asynchronous broadcasting and multiple base stations, which can give a view for future MTC management. |
