媒體立場對陸生來台就學政策報導與評論的差異分析 ∼《中國時報》、《聯合報》、《自由時報》的比較(2008~2011)

Abstract

兩岸關係的走向對於台灣未來的發展息息相關，過去的敵意相對轉化成現今的磋商合作，現階段兩岸的合作範圍不僅有經濟層面，亦包含了教育文化層面的交流。本研究以「陸生來台就學」為研究背景，透過《中國時報》、《聯合報》、《自由時報》的角度觀察該議題，並以此轉向觀察此三報立場差異，並作一比較分析，此為本文主要研究目的。 在研究方法運用上，本研究以內容分析法為主要研究方法，以《中國時報》、《聯合報》、《自由時報》對「陸生來台就學」政策報導與評論為研究文本，並設計如何說類目、說什麼類目、政策分析類目去分析所有研究文本，最後以敘述性統計分析及列聯表分析作成一實證性研究，並獲得以下研究成果： 一、《中國時報》、《聯合報》、《自由時報》對「陸生來台就學」政策報導與評論技術呈現上有顯著差異。 二、《中國時報》、《聯合報》、《自由時報》對「陸生來台就學」政策報導與評論實質內容上有顯著差異。 三、《中國時報》、《聯合報》、《自由時報》因其報設立場不同，進而導致其產出之報導評論存在差異，兩者具有一定關聯性。

The development of the relationship between China and Taiwan is very important for Taiwan’s future. Their relationship changes from the hostility to cooperate, for instance, their cooperation not only includes the economy, but also education. Therefore, “Chinese students study in Taiwan” became the research background of this thesis and tried to analysis this topic by three main different newspapers in Taiwan which include China times, united daily news, the liberty times. Also, this thesis tried to elaborate the standpoints of these three different newspapers as the research purpose of this thesis. This thesis used the content analysis as the main research method and used the news reports of those three newspapers as the resources of the thesis. Also, this research analyzed all resources through “how it said”, “what is said” and “policy analysis”. Finally, descriptive statistics and crosstab analysis helped this thesis to prove below statements: Firstly, China times, united daily news, the liberty times have different levels and skills in reporting, commenting on “Chinese students study in Taiwan”. Moreover, China times, united daily news, the liberty times have different contents in reporting and commenting on “Chinese students study in Taiwan”. The last but not the least, since the background of China times, united daily news, the liberty times are different, so they obviously have different comments on the issue of “Chinese students study in Taiwan”.
