| dc.description.abstract | 在高能物理中,量子色動力學(QCD)是描述強作用力的基本理論,而晶格量子量子色動力學(把QCD引入不連續的時空間晶格中)是從第一原理出發,最可行的方式非微擾地闡明QCD。在這篇論文中,我們用2 flavor的optimal domain-wall 夸克研究介子 (meson) 和重子 (baryon) 的質譜。雖然$pi$介子的質量不是物理上的質量 (約若300 Mev),但由魅夸克和奇夸克組成的介子與重子看似都能與高能實驗的數值吻合。 | zh_TW |
| dc.description.abstract | Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) is the fundamental theory for the strong interaction in high energy physics, and lattice QCD (formulating QCD on a discrete space-time lattice) is the most viable way to solve QCD nonperturbatively from the first principles.
In this thesis, we perform an exploratory study of the mass spectrum of mesons and baryons in lattice QCD with $N_f = 2 $ optimal domain-wall quarks. Even though the pion mass of these gauge ensembles are unphysical, about 300 MeV, the mass spectrum of the mesons and baryons containing charm and strange quarks seem to be in good agreement with the high energy experimental values. | en |
