摘要: | 海洋環境因子對於海鳥的分布及食物資源都有所影響,在鳳頭燕鷗(Thalasseus bergii)的研究中,得知其在繁殖地選擇上,與海水表面溫度及葉綠素濃度都有所關係,但在非繁殖季的研究就相對較少。本篇在2016-2018年讓鳳頭燕鷗攜帶衛星發報器(n=18),以獲得其2016-2019年非繁殖季的活動點位,發現馬祖及澎湖的鳳頭燕鷗在遷徙上主要可以分成3條路線─(1)循中國沿岸南下至中南半島度冬、(2)於中途跨越南海至菲律賓度冬及(3)沿臺灣西南部至菲律賓度冬。秋、春季遷徙及度冬天數平均依序分別為30.3±32.8天(n=23)、11.1±10.3天(n=16)及191.8±29.7天(n=16),個體間的花費天數並不相同且有不小的差異,且秋季遷徙的天數會比春季遷徙來得長。澎湖及馬祖的繁殖族群,度冬地會有差異,但也會有重疊的部分。另外,在非繁殖季鳳頭燕鷗偏好較高的葉綠素濃度,較低的海水表面溫度,較淺的水域,以及偏好於河口周邊活動。海洋環境因子間會有交互作用,但對於偏好影響不大。燕鷗活動可能也會和周邊是否有保護區存在一些關係,2016-2019年東南亞度冬地的核心區共有約40.7%的面積與保護區重疊,中繼站範圍內或是周圍也都會有一些保護區,但是菲律賓的度冬地僅巴拉望有和保護區重疊,未來狀況值得繼續關注。 There are some effects of oceanic environment on the distribution and food of seabirds. The researches showed that there are a few relationships between chlorophyll concentration, sea surface temperature (SST) and breeding site selection of Greater Crested Terns(Thalasseus bergii). Satellite tracking tags deployed on terns from 2016 to 2019 in Matsu and Penghu(n=18). We found that terns would go through China coast and South China Sea to Indochina and the Philippines or through the southwest coast of Taiwan to the Philippines. They spent 30.3±32.8 (n=23), 11.1±10.3 (n=16), and 191.8±29.7 (n=16) days on autumn migration, spring migration, and wintering, repectively. There were lots of differences of days among individuals, and the duration of autumn migration was longer than spring migration. Moreover, there were different winter habitats of breeding population in Matsu and Penghu, but showed mixing partially. Terns prefered to choose non-breeding site near the estuary with higher chlorophyll concentration, lower SST, and shallower water. There were some interactions between oceanic environment factors, but interactions didn’t affect the preference of terns. Besides mentioned above, protected area(PA) might influence the choices of terns in non-breeding season. In the winer habitat of southeast Asia, there was totally about 40.7% core area protected by PAs. Furthermore, there were some PAs around or in the stopovers. On the contrary, in the Philippines, little winter habitat was protected by PAs and should keep tracking in the future. |
