dc.description.abstract | Cultural Intelligence is a growing social science that is focused on the development of competencies and skills to improve cross-cultural relationships, communication and performance. Through literature reviews as well as published data it is clear that the cultural intelligence of an organization, team or individual can be increased. It is also apparent that when cultural intelligence is increased there are marked improvements for the organization – both internally among personnel and departments and also externally with customers and suppliers. It is this author’s opinion that with the increasing globalization of work and life there is a unique opportunity for a qualified entrepreneur to enter into the cultural intelligence consulting market. Therefore, the purpose of this business plan is to offer a family-owned consulting and training company that has been developed through careful consideration and analysis. Our goal is to have a complete and accurate business plan that allows our family the opportunity to form and develop an organization that empowers others to successfully work and live cross-culturally. This business plan includes this executive summary, a background of the proposed business, offered products and services, a market analysis, a marketing plan, a financial plan and finally some considerations for the future. We also conducted significant quantitative research to gather data that would help us understand our market so we could optimize our business plan and product offerings. | en |
