dc.description.abstract近年來,無線感測網路的應用漸漸廣泛,使得網際網路內除了使用者產生的資訊外,無線嵌入式裝置也開始送出通知訊息、數據紀錄或其他資訊,大幅地改變整個網路的架構,這也代表物聯網的時代正式到來。
隨著越來越多的研究團隊投入無線感測網路相關的研究當中,無線通訊技術已逐漸趨於成熟,結合IP機制於無線感測網路再也不會不可能達成,且能為其帶來相當大的好處;由於,對於此技術之趨勢與需求已越來越明顯,IETF組織為了結合IP機制於無線感測網路,制訂部分相關的規範與標準,如6LoWPAN和RPL通訊協定,該些協定之效能即為決定無線感測網路是否能正常運作的一大重點。
本研究之目的即為根據現有標準,建置出結合IP機制並可應用於智慧家庭之無線感測網路平台;首先,根據智慧家庭的需求設置模擬情境,藉由模擬器觀察RPL路由協定之效能與特性;另外,測試針對智慧家庭應用的最佳參數,確保網路效能達最佳化;最後,於真實世界中建置無線感測網路平台,並將實驗結果與模擬數據相比較以驗證成果,使物聯網不再單單只是一個名詞,而能實踐於我們的生活當中。

dc.description.abstractIn recent years, the application of wireless sensor network (WSN) has become increasingly diverse. On the Internet, aside from the original information generated by the users, wireless embedded devices now also generate notification messages, data records and other such information. This phenomenon radically alternates the structure of the Internet and simultaneously inaugurates the era of Internet of Things (IoT).
With more and more research groups devoting into WSN-related researches, the technique of wireless communication has become gradually refined. It is no longer impossible to extend IP to WSN, which would be thus greatly enriched. Given that the trend toward and the need for such extension have been progressively obvious, the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) drew up related regulations and standards, such as 6LoWPAN and RPL routing protocol. One major factor determining whether WSN can function normally lies in the very efficiency of those protocols.
The purpose of this research is, therefore, to establish a WSN platform based on the current standard, which incorporates IP and is applicable to smart home. This research will, first, set up a simulation scenario according to the need of smart home and observe the efficiency and property of RPL routing protocol with the help of simulator; in addition, this simulation will focus on the optimal parameters applied by smart home to ensure the efficiency of network. Finally, this research seeks to build up a WSN platform in reality and compare the experiment result with the simulation data to verify its achievement. Hopefully, IoT would go beyond a mere word and be truly actualized in our daily life.
