次世代無線網路中以流量動態調整頻寬

Abstract

現今，無線網路相當普及。同時，行動資料量越來越高，人們需要更高的傳輸速度。在最新無線網路的標準中(例如802.11ac)，無線網路基地台較寬的頻寬來增進傳輸速度。近來有研究指出無線網路傳統上使用固定的頻寬，但這不是個有效益的作法，動態調整頻寬是比較好的方法。但是他們並沒有考量到無法控制的無線基地台造成的影響。在這篇論文中，我們考量無法控制的無線基地台以及利用機率的觀點來制定我們的問題。之後提出了一個在多項式時間內的啟發式演算法並且分析了它的時間複雜度。模擬結果顯示我們的方法可以比過去的方法達到較高的吞吐量。

Nowadays, Wi-Fi becomes popular. At the same time, mobile traffic load is getting higher, and people require higher transmission rate as well. In the latest Wi-Fi standard(i.e., IEEE 802.11ac), access points(APs) can use wider channel width to achieve higher transmission rate. Then, recent works point out that it is not efficiency while using fixed channel width in traditional, and show that dynamical channelization is better approach. However, they do not consider influence of uncontrollable APs. In this thesis, we consider uncontrollable APs and utilize concept of probability to formulate our problem. After that, we propose a heuristic algorithm in polynomial time and analysis its time complexity. The simulation result shows that our algorithm can achieve higher throughput than past work.
