dc.description.abstract | 氣候突變 (abrupt change or regime shift),是指一個氣候穩定狀態跳躍至另一個穩定狀態的現象,且其跳躍過程的時間遠短於穩定狀態維持的時間。此論文探討1980年代晚期的突變區域,環流變化,及可能造成突變的相關現象及可能原因。
使用Rodionov (2004) 提出的連續演算法,定義出1987年為1980年代晚期的突變年份。突變的區域以歐洲(0°-50°E,40°-70°N)、東亞(90°-140°E,30°-60°N)、加拿大東岸(50°-90°W,40°-60°N)、美國東南岸(80°-110°W,15°-40°N)以及黑潮延伸地帶(140°-180°E,30°-45°N)最為明顯。分析造成1980年代晚期冬季突變,包括加拿大東岸的突然降溫及其他四個區域的突然增暖,與AO-like mode與PDO-like mode的變化有關,於1980年代過後,主要受到AO-like mode由負到正相位的突然轉變及較微弱的PDO-like mode正相位兩者的正貢獻影響,且AO-like mode的貢獻較PDO-like mode的為大。 使用IPCC-AR4中22個大氣海洋偶合模式的資料,探討溫室氣體對於AO-like mode的改變,得到AO-like mode為一自然存在於大氣中的模態,比較加入溫室氣體效應的模式結果,發現AO-like mode的振幅於1980年代晚期並沒有被放大,此結果也代表於IPCC-AR4的模式中,溫室氣體效應對於1980年代晚期突然增溫的貢獻並不大,1980年代晚期的突變為大氣中原本存在的年代際變化所造成。 另外,於本論文中也特別針對東亞地區的突然增溫,探討可能的原因。發現除了AO相位由負轉正以及蒙古高壓、阿留申低壓突然減弱的影響外,大西洋上約(300°-330°,30°-50°N)區域海溫的突然增暖也為造成東亞地區溫度突然升高的另一貢獻來源。當大西洋上的海溫升高,提供駐波能量由低層往高層傳遞,將經由歐亞大陸傳遞至東亞地區,提供了東亞地區突然升溫的能量來源之一。此外,前人研究也提到,此大西洋上海溫的突然升高,會導致大西洋北極震盪(NAO)的正相位發生,此正相位所造成歐洲大陸上的重力位高度及溫度的變化,又提供了向高層傳遞的駐波能量,此能量加強了原本向東傳遞的駐波活動通量,使其能夠順著因為噴流北移造成的有利背景場,將能量傳遞至東亞。 | zh_TW |
