| zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | In the service economy, both manufacturing and service sectors may engage in service innovation in order to sustain the competitive advantage. For the purpose of perfectly matching the continuous change of market and technology, firms may have to do service innovation many times, which might be influenced by the firm's past developed path, resources, and capabilities.
This thesis develops a dynamic trajectory to predict the long-term development of service innovation according to a 2×2 matrix which is built by two dimensions, the type of innovation based on disruptive innovation concept and the type of service based on degree of customization. It also suggests firms how to implement a appropriate service innovation strategy. This thesis also uses dynamic capability perspective to analyze how firms change the type of service innovation with the same evolutionary pattern in terms of the three constructs (Process, Position, Path). This study chooses four corporations which are in different industries as the case-study samples to test and explain this dynamic trajectory. | en |
