| dc.description.abstract | 子女照顧父母向來被認為是理所當然的基本倫理，以及在過去社會脈絡下，家庭照顧是典型的、公認為的照顧典範，但是隨著人口快速老化、家庭內的照顧人力不如以往，再加上價值觀與社會政策變革，子女看待照顧父母的想法亦可能有所變動。回顧過去研究，大致可將子女照顧父母的主題分為數個面向，例如照顧動機、主要照顧者人選、照顧方式、照顧態度，以及照顧技巧等，這些研究揭開子女照顧父母的狀態，卻較少探究為何子女是如此照顧父母。故本研究以中壯年世代子女為研究對象，並運用社會建構論觀點─將子女照顧父母視為是植基於各別生活經驗與社會背景、在互為理解的情境中形成的社會秩序(social order)，分析照顧的社會秩序，以及社會秩序如何傳承與變遷，期能從中了解照顧是如何地被建構著。
本研究採質化研究深度訪談法，透過立意抽樣的方式，訪談14組曾經或正在照顧父母的中壯年世代子女，另配合我國仍存在媳婦照顧公婆的規範，納入媳婦及女婿等角色。研究發現中壯年世代子女共同認同某些大原則，例如子女應該照顧父母並且有顧「好」的責任等等。然而在各別的中壯年世代子女眼中，照顧父母又有各自的解讀，例如在照顧初衷不變的前提下，主要照顧者人選是可以男女平等的、照顧末期是能送往機構的等等。這些一致性與差異性在各別的中壯年世代子女眼中都是他們認為的「子女照顧父母」，是他們眼中的真實。他們眼中的真實同時受到社會互動及各別家庭內初級社會化和照顧參照的影響，直言之是透過互動情境中語言的操作、日常生活對話的過程、社會制度的鞏固等三個環節而成形，並且一旦有參與者提出挑戰或疑問，社會秩序就可能產生變動；另本研究也在各別家庭的世代傳承間發現家庭之於個人是另一個小社會。子女如何看待照顧父母深受家庭經驗、生活脈絡的影響，並透露出在整體的社會秩序下每個家庭都還各自有一套對照顧父母的理解方式。因此，照顧的社會秩序是在世代之間、在人與人的交談之間不斷被語言、非語言的互動所建構、傳承與改變的。換句話說，照顧的社會秩序不是一個客觀的答案，而是持續地在不同情境、不同關係裡改變著，或說被持續地建構著的理解。 依據研究發現，本研究在政策制度和社會工作實務面分別做出建議，在政策制度面建議提升照顧服務適切性和資訊可及性，包括更細緻的檢視社區及居家服務如何貼近使用者的需求、升長期照顧服務的資訊曝光度等。另，反思與強化照顧的社會秩序，家庭終究仍是承擔照顧責任的一環，並非由國家完全取代家庭的照顧責任，以及強化家庭間的世代連結，改變被動傳遞為主動傳承，維持家庭作為照顧的社會秩續傳承的重要媒介。在社會工作實務方面，以人在環境中的思維理解中壯年世代子女的處境，敏感於他們選擇不同照顧方式背後的因素。另，關注他們的情緒壓力及心理狀態，適時連結喘息服務並加強情緒性支持。 | zh_TW |
