| dc.description.abstract | 隨著家庭結構改變，在實務工作上，單親父親受助的人數增加，其中子女照顧是其面臨的一大困境，此亦讓第一線實務工作者發現單親父親所面對的問題並不亞於單親母親。同樣是單親家長，男性單親家長經常被認為必須為自己的處境負責，然公部門社工員輔導的男性單親個案幾乎都是屬於經濟弱勢，因此本研究希望更進一步探討經濟弱勢單親父親的處境及其在子女照顧上的困境，提供實務工作及政策規劃之參考。
本研究是以臺北縣區域社會福利服務中心的七名經濟弱勢單親父親為研究對象，採質化研究深度訪談的方式進行研究資料的蒐集。研究發現，這些經濟弱勢的單親父親在獨力扶養子女時所面臨的困境是與經濟問題有關，這些單親父親大部分在未成為單親之前的工作及經濟狀況就已不穩定，因為本身低學歷、低技術而使其工作能力低，以致於工作機會少，就業競爭力較弱，或是雖有工作，但薪資所得偏低，使其陷入貧窮或處於貧窮邊緣。再加上他們能從親屬方面獲得的支持程度都不高，甚至完全沒有，此亦讓他們在面對經濟與子女照顧困境時更顯孤立無援。因為經濟的弱勢，其能力亦不足以支付托育（兒）、課後照顧費用，遂陷入工作與子女照顧的兩難困境。此外，這些單親父親在過去的子女照顧經驗不多，並未學習到子女照顧方面的親職知識，面對單親後獨力照顧子女時所面對的各種子女的行為或情緒反應也顯得不知所措。 當子女照顧、工作與經濟問題之間互相牽制，又缺乏正式或非正式資源的協助時，這些經濟弱勢單親父親除了感受到角色壓力外，對未來亦感到焦慮與茫然，也對自己未能成功扮演好父親的角色而有低自我價值感。他們在面對福利系統時，也感受到現有福利制度對男性的歧視，社會仍用主流的性別角色來看這一群經濟弱勢的單親父親，把他們的失業歸咎於個人因素，而忽略其他社會結構因素的影響。因此透過本研究也更進一步瞭解經濟弱勢單親父親的困境其實與單親母親一樣，面對收入能力低、兒童照顧花費高以及缺乏福利補助的經濟困境及子女照顧等問題，經濟弱勢的單親父親也同樣需要協助，因此，建議政府在制訂相關福利政策時也應該考量男性單親家庭的需求，以達到真正支持家庭的目標。 | zh_TW |
