行動WiMAX 系統上交遞之研究

Abstract

IEEE 802.16 是一個提供高頻寬、具有服務品質、可同時提供大量使用 者使用的無線寬頻技術， 它也同時被稱為微波接取全球互連 （WiMAX）。由於行動通訊的需求量增加，因此提出了IEEE 802.16e 以因應WiMAX 行動通訊的需求。在IEEE 802.16e 中，交遞（Handover） 是影響整個行動通訊的系統效能和服務品質最主要的機制。因此，在 論文中，我們提出了兩種分散式的方法，針對行動WiMAX 網路中每 個使用者，有效地產生最適當的target-BS List，並且針對交遞成功率、 系統容量、交遞時間進行了一系列的模擬實驗，探討兩種分散式方法 的效能。

The IEEE 802.16, also called WiMAX, is one of the advanced technologies of BWA for high data-rate, high capacity, and QoS wireless communications. To fulfill the raising demand of mobility, IEEE 802.16e is further proposed to support WiMAX mobile users. In IEEE 802.16e, handover has a great impact on system performance and QoS for mobile WiMAX. In this thesis, we proposes two distributed approaches to efficiently generate a proper target-BS list for each handover MSS over a mobile WiMAX network. A series of simulation experiments are conducted to investigate the performance of our approaches in terms of the handover success probability, the system capacity, and the handover latency.
