場序式液晶顯示器之設計及新式電荷回收電路

Abstract

針對場序式顯示器進行畫素分析，並與傳統式顯示器比較，提出場序式顯示器在畫素電路設計上之關鍵因素。並就不同尺寸之顯示器進行畫素電路設計，進一步分析各設計參數在不同條件下之影響。 此外本論文亦提出一新型省電設計，利用液晶顯示器之反轉需求，以電晶體接通畫素顯示電極到地，回收使用電荷以達到節省功率及快速充放電的效果。

Design constraints on field-sequential color (FSC) LCD are proposed and compared with conventional color filter (CF) LCD. Application of these constraints to design LCD screen of different sizes is demonstrated. A new power saving design using charge recycling technique on the pixel level is proposed. Design constraints are derived and design examples are demonstrated. Compared with conventional charging methods, this method consumes only half the power, the charging speed is faster and the aperture ratio is similar.
