| dc.description.abstract | 本試驗是利用犬安慰性費洛蒙 (dog-appeasing pheromones,DAP) 測試犬隻在進入收容所的10天過程中,對於緊迫或恐懼相關行為及生理反應的舒緩效果,盼能因降低壓力而增進犬隻在收容所期間的動物福利與其認養率。
生理反應方面,對照組犬隻的生理緊迫值 (urinary cortisol to creatinine ratio,UCCR) 在第10天顯著高於第1與5天 (P<0.05,P<0.05);而實驗組犬隻的生理緊迫值 (UCCR) 則會隨天數而顯著下降 (P<0.05,P<0.05)。兩組間,含DAP的實驗組犬隻在第5與10天的生理緊迫值皆會低於對照組犬隻 (P<0.05,P<0.05)。 行為反應方面,在對照組中,相對於第1天,第5天的吼叫 (P<0.05)、企圖逃跑 (P<0.05) 與活動性 (P<0.05) 的表現會增加;第10天的活動性 (P<0.05) 與繞圈圈 (P<0.05) 的表現會增加。在實驗組中,第10天的企圖逃跑 (P<0.05) 的表現會增加。然而兩組間,在第5天的企圖逃跑行為,對照組顯著高於實驗組犬隻 (P<0.05);第10天的哈欠行為,對照組也顯著高於實驗組犬隻 (P<0.05)。 因此,犬隻在DAP的使用下,唯有企圖逃跑與哈欠的行為表現程度較低,而生理緊迫值會隨時間而降低。無論進入收容所的犬隻是否會表現出緊迫的行為反應,DAP具有舒緩犬隻的緊迫反應與達到降低壓力的功效。 | zh_TW |
| dc.description.abstract | We assessed the efficiency of the dog-appeasing pheromones (DAP) that appease the stress-ralated behavioral and physical responses in dogs entering the shelter for ten days. We hope that DAP can reduce the stress levels to promote the animal welfare of dogs and the dog-fostered probability.
In the physical responses, the urinary cortisol to creatinine ratio (UCCR) of the control group on day10 was significant higher than the UCCR on day1 and day5 (P<0.05, P<0.05). And the UCCR of the treatment group was significant reducing over days (P<0.05, P<0.05). Between the two groups, the UCCR of the treatment group with the DAP on day5 and day10 was significant lower than the control group (P<0.05, P<0.05). In the behavioral responses, the attempt to flee, vocalization and activity increased in the control group on day5 (P<0.05, P<0.05, P<0.05). And the activity and circling may also increase in the control group on day10 (P<0.05, P<0.05). However, the attempt to flee may increase in the treatment group on day10 (P<0.05). Between the two groups, the attempt to flee in the control group on day5 was significant higher than the treatment group (P<0.05). And the yawn in the control group on day10 was also significant higher than the treatment group (P<0.05). Therefore, the DAPs seem to appease some stress-related behavioral responses and reduce the physical stress levels (UCCR) in dogs over days. Whether the dog entering the shelter shows the stress-related behaviors or not, the DAP can appease stressed dog and have the efficiency of reducing stress. | en |
