| zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this thesis was to analyze the recreation motivation and enduring involvement of hikers of different hiking sites in Taipei suburban area. Base on structure equation modeling (SEM), the study applied the confirmatory factor analysis to test various hypotheses on recreation motivation and enduring involvement for hiking activity.
By literature review, the study first designed a questionnaire and interviewed more than 900 hikers; then empolyed the SEM to examine the relationship between recreation motivation and enduring involvement of hiking activity. The statistical analysis from 857 valid questionnaires showed that the relationship between recreation motivation and enduring involvement was significant, and it had a better goodness-of-fit if the questionnaire data separated by two types of hiking sites classified by recreation opportunity spectrum. The study result indicated that the enduring involvement had a significant impact on the recreation motivation. There was a positive corelation between the attraction and self-expression factors of enduring involvement. There were some differences between the coefficients of structure equation models for modern sites and semi-modern sites; it implied that different type of hiking sites could satisfy the different recreation motivations of hiking activities. | en |
