台灣監理科技市場潛力之探討—以M公司為例

Abstract

金融科技(FinTech)大大的改變了全球金融業的樣貌，不僅讓金融服務變得更為便利、無所不在，也讓金融界的數據量、交易量、交易類型、交易場域變得越來越多和越來越複雜，使其無法僅透過人工的方式進行監管，因此近年也帶動了監理科技(RegTech)產業的發展。顯然，監理科技為近來新興的產業領域，值得學界、業界人士進一步探討其潛在商機。本文試圖回答以下研究問題：台灣監理科技產業與全球產業相比具有哪些競爭優勢，而台灣廠商又如何發揮這些優勢，以極大化廠商本身和整體產業的市場潛力？本文就監理科技的市場潛力和未來發展進行研究，與三位產、官、學人士進行訪談，討論監理科技的定義、應用和未來產業走向，期望作為監理科技業者未來訂定策略的藍圖，同時也作為本文個案M公司未來發展之參考。

The emergence of FinTech has greatly changed the landscape of the global finance industry, not only making financial services more convenient and accessible, but also increasing the amount of financial data, transaction amounts, transaction types, and transaction channels, making these more and more complex, so much so that manual management has become impossible. This has led to the emergence of the RegTech industry in recent years. Clearly, RegTech is an emerging industry worthy of further exploration by academics and industry players alike in terms of market opportunities. This study seeks to answer the following questions: what competitive advantages does the Taiwanese RegTech industry hold in comparison with the global market, and how can Taiwanese companies maximize these to their own benefit and the benefit of the industry at large? This study explores market potentials and future developments of the RegTech industry through interviews with three industrial, governmental, and academic professionals, discussing the definition, application, and future trends of RegTech as well as laying out a strategic blueprint for RegTech companies in general and case study target M company in particular.
