摘要: | 隨著各國產業逐漸邁入全球化,跨國公司勢必面臨來自各方的競爭與壓力,對於所有產業來說,已開發國家勢必受到開發中國家的低成本挑戰。就因為這樣的強烈競爭,不僅僅是低成本之競爭,同時也挑戰了跨國公司在全球佈局及管理的能力,誰能夠有較好地整合效率,並且保持著優勢又能適時適地的回應顧客的需求,這些都是國際企業所需要探討之重要策略議題。 本研究主要是以半導體的跨國企業為探討主軸,對於在台灣之跨國半導體公司使用波特提出的鑽石模型分析台灣地區性競爭力,了解產業升級過程以及可能之地區性優勢與機會,分析結果後再考量現在中美貿易戰帶來的去全球化以及新冠肺炎之肆虐全球提出半導體跨國公司在台灣可能之推行建議,而後再以結果訪談單一個案,選擇探討的是目前世界類比半導體佔有率高達18個百分比的德州儀器台灣廠作為個案對象,從中瞭解在這樣的全球化浪潮下德州儀器台灣廠如何應對。 在結論中,將討論德州儀器現行之實行方式和優勢與本文提出之建議做比較,著重於:台灣之人力資源、代理商優劣勢、跨國公司績效管理模式等等,歸納出德州儀器和其他半導體跨國公司可能之方向供讀者參考。 With the gradual globalization of industries in various countries, multinational companies are bound to face competition and pressure from competitors. For all industries, the cost of developed countries is challenged by developing countries. Because of such strong competition, it is not only a low-cost competition but also challenges the global layout and management capabilities of multinational companies. Companies who have better integrate efficiency, maintenance of the advantage, and respond to customers’ demand in a short time are important strategic issues that international companies need to be care about. This research mainly focuses on multinational semiconductor companies. For multinational semiconductor companies in Taiwan, the diamond model proposed by Porter is used to analyze Taiwan’s regional competitiveness, and to understand the industrial upgrading process, possible regional advantages and opportunities. After analyzing the results considering the current de-globalization trend due to the trade war between China and the U.S. and the impact of COVID-19 virus, a recommendation for the implementation of semiconductor multinational companies in Taiwan was proposed. Then, using the results to discuss in a single case: Texas Instruments which has 18 percent market share in analog chips global market and to understand how the Texas Instruments Taiwan Plant responds to this globalization impact. In conclusion, comparing the current implementation methods and advantages of Texas Instruments with the suggestions proposed in this article. We focus on Taiwan's human resources, the advantages of agents, and the performance management model of multinational companies, etc. for readers as references. |
