Of late, temporary demand for human resources, high employee turnover rates, and lack of human resources within industries have all brought about the rise of employment agencies (or, as they are more commonly known, temp agencies). Temp agencies do not manufacture goods, but rely on their human resources to fulfill industry demand and bring in profits. 'Winner takes all' is the operating mode of the temping industry: companies must employ enough human resources to cover a range of demands and achieve economic scale; however, financial pressures tend to grow as employee numbers rise. Going public would be a way to alleviate these pressures, strengthen company recognition, and enhance employee motivation. Through interviews and surveys, this study discovered that company management believes going public will have a significant impact on employees, but the majority of employees do not believe that going public will have any significant factual impact on the recruitment, retention, and future growth of employees.
