zh_TW
This study constructs inter-firm collaboration network by strategic alliances and intra-firm collaboration network by patent co-invention simultaneously and investigates the impact of network size and network efficiency in these two networks on firm innovation. And we also examine how intra-firm network size and technological diversity influence the relationship between inter-firm network structure and innovation to explain the role of these variables on firm innovation. The study employs the secondary data analysis and social network analysis in information and communication technology and pharmaceutical industry, and the negative binomial regression is used to testing our hypotheses. The results indicate that both network size and network efficiency in inter-firm network and intra-firm network contribute to firm innovation. And the effects of inter-firm network structure on innovation are moderated by intra-firm network size and technological diversity.en
