dc.description.abstract本研究分析了台灣鄰近海域的潮位資料及衛星測高資料,希望能夠了解近五十年來西北太平洋的海水面長期變動速率,及造成其變動之原因。另外與北太平洋多個氣候指數比較討論其相關性,希望能歸納海水面週期性變動的原因。
  根據潮位資料,台灣鄰近海域的海水面變化在1969-2009、1975-2009、以及1993-2009三個時段的海水面變化速率,分別為2.4mm/yr、2.7mm/yr以及4.9mm/yr,另外衛星資料顯示本研究區域內的平均海水面變化速率為5.0mm/yr明顯大於全球平均3.4mm/yr。而密度變化的海水面變化則為0.79mm/yr,1mm/yr以及3.1mm/yr同樣呈現變快的現象。並由衛星資料與密度資料的平均相關係數高達0.8,可知密度變化為造成近期海水面變化之主因。但是海水面的變化趨勢,會隨時間變動,多數測站在1991年之後海水面呈現加速上升的現象,代表利用現在的海水面變化速率去推估未來的變化有其不確定性。空間分布上,衛星資料1993-2009期間顯示海水面變大致為低緯度速率大於高緯度的,但是潮位站的結果則不明顯。
  影響西太平洋的氣候指數可簡單分為三類,分別是PDO-NPI-PNA,NPGO-NPO-WP以及ENSO,反映的是熱帶海溫之變化及阿留申低壓的強度變化及中心位置之經度變化。而低頻的氣候指數的影響,只有在北緯30度以北的測站較為明顯,可能是低頻的氣候變動,在溫帶地區較為明顯,抑或是因為潮位只有單點且影響因子眾多,不能明確表達區域海水面與氣候變動之關係。衛星資料與氣候指數的相關係數分布,顯示台灣鄰近海域的海水面變化明顯受到海洋物理參數及太平洋的氣壓變化所影響,造成海洋環流的增強或減弱,進而影響了海水面的變化,這點可能說明了ENSO與台灣東邊的黑潮之相關性。
