zh_TW
While the evolution of technology raises the importance of utilizing digital technology to reach business goals, IT-enabled transformation programs (ITT programs) have gained substantial attention in real world practice. However, how to cultivate program team resilience against creeping disruptions that arise from the interdependence of sub-projects remain unexplored, as most resilience literature focused on sudden disruptions (e.g., earthquakes and COVID-19) at the individual project or team level. Grounded in Conservation of Resources (COR) theory, this qualitative interview study identifies crucial resources that enable ITT program teams to develop resilience capability. Coincide with previous project management journal, our interview findings reveal that ITT mindset (i.e., change potency and program psychological safety) facilitates a positive mindset for ITT program to address creeping disruptions. Furthermore, we highlight the critical role of ITT knowledge—including IT personnel’s knowledge of business process and IT improvisation—in developing feasible IT solutions aligned with evolving business objectives, which then contributes to ITT program team resilience. This study bridges the gap between project management and information systems research, offering theoretical and practical contributions by clarifying the nature of creeping disruptions and the antecedent resources required for program teams to develop and demonstrate resilience in ITT program contexts.en
