| zh_TW |
| dc.description.abstract | Based on the Conservation of Resources Theory, this study examined whether work-family conflict mediates the relationship between overtime work and the need for work-family measures as anticipated by employees. Using comprehensive survey data from the Ministry of Labor in Taiwan, which included information on workers' living and employment conditions, we analyzed 3,936 valid responses through structural equation modeling and hierarchical regression analysis. The results indicated a positive association between overtime work and the need for work-family measures as anticipated by employees. Additionally, work-family conflict acts as both a full and partial mediator in this relationship. The study highlights the importance for companies to understand the real needs of their employees and to implement optimized work-family measures. Such measures can enhance employees' quality of life and facilitate a better balance between work and family responsibilities, ultimately fostering a mutually beneficial situation for both employers and employees. | en |
