摘要: | 在5G系統中,毫米波技術的應用因其高頻率能夠獲得更大的頻寬而逐漸引起關注。然而,用於無線傳輸的更高頻率的毫米波將增加路徑損耗和傳輸損耗。大規模多輸入多輸出(MIMO)可以克服這個問題。大規模 MIMO 結合了MIMO和波束成形技術。MIMO技術提高了頻譜利用率,波束成形技術可以使功率更集中。然而,傳統的全數字式的每個天線元件都需要單獨的射頻鏈路(RF Chain),這導致高能耗和高成本的問題。在這裡,混合架構結合了數字波束成形和模擬波束成形以解決成本問題。
這裡我們將巢狀 陣列的架構與混合波束成形相結合。巢狀陣列的相位差可以增加自由度(DOF)。混合波束成形將混合接收信號,但這將破壞巢狀陣列的特殊相位差,並導致DOF降低。在這裡,我們設計了一種創新的架構來解決這個問題。這種連接天線的方式可以最大化巢狀陣列的效果。根據模擬結果,我們驗證了這種架構可以獲得接近傳統全數字式估計的到達方向(DOA)的結果。 In the 5G system, the millimeter wave technology application has gradually attracted attention by developing high frequency to obtain a larger bandwidth. However, higher frequency millimeter waves for wireless transmission will increase path loss and transmission loss. Massive Multi-input Multi-output (MIMO) can overcome this problem. Massive MIMO combines MIMO and beamforming technologies. MIMO technology improves spectrum utilization, and beamforming technology can make power more concentrated. However, each antenna element of the traditional fully digital requires a separate radio frequency chain (RF chain), which leads to the problem of high power consumption and high cost. Here, the hybrid architecture combined with digital beamforming and analog beamforming to solve the cost problem. Here we combine the architecture of the nested array with the hybrid beamforming. The phase difference of the nested array can increase the degree of freedom (DOF). Hybrid beamforming will mix the received signals, but this will destroy the particular phase difference of the nested array and cause the DOF to drop. Here we design an innovative architecture to solve this problem. This way of connecting the antenna can maximize the effect of the nested array. We verified that this architecture could obtain results close to the Direction Of Arrival (DOA) estimated by the traditional fully digital according to the simulation results. |
