| dc.description.abstract | 臺灣乳癌生存者普遍擁有性困擾卻缺乏討論與協助。本研究欲了解影響乳癌生存者性健康的脈絡，以強調性是社會互動而非單純生理反應的性腳本理論（Sexual Script Theory）為基礎，蒐集生存者的性與資源取得經驗。本研究透過乳癌病友團體與研究者人脈，招募11名乳癌女性進行深度訪談。受訪者背景多元，含括不同年齡層、癌齡、診斷期數、地區及關係型態。研究發現，女性與乳癌共存後產生「新的我」，更重視自身舒適度與健康，進而影響其性健康決定。與伴侶互動時，會期待伴侶能「互相」體諒、適應疾病，一同取得共識。然而，罹癌後的自我不確定感與伴侶受到的衝擊，都增加情感與性生活溝通上的挑戰，解讀資訊時伴隨著不確定性。原有對女人的性角色期待，加上臺灣缺少非主流性典範和性健康資源，都讓乳癌女性遇到性困擾後，有說與說不出口的情境，甚至有無助、恐懼的感受。值得注意的是，本研究發現部分受訪女性有逐漸突破社會文化束縛，主動開創性相關討論的傾向。文末，本研究也整理出性健康資源給予模式與情境的關聯圖，建議未來性健康資源的建置，除了可以根據關聯圖選擇適合的形式，亦要能回應乳癌生存者罹癌後「新的我」的需求。此外，比起在特定時間給予特定性知識，拓展所謂「正常」的定義、創造討論的空間更為重要。最後，本研究也強調，給予乳癌生存者的伴侶關注與協助，亦有助乳癌生存者的性健康結果。 | zh_TW |
| dc.description.abstract | In Taiwan, breast cancer survivors commonly experience difficulties in having a sexual life but there is a general lack of discussion and assistance. This study aims to understand the context affecting the sexual health of breast cancer survivors, and collect survivors’ experiences of obtaining (or not at all) sexual health resources. Sexual Script Theory, which emphasizes that sex is a social interaction rather than a purely biological response, has served the basis of this study. 11 breast cancer women with diverse backgrounds were recruited for in-depth interviews. After thematic analysis, we found that women developed “a new me” while coexisting with breast cancer. They placed greater emphasis on personal comfort and health, which also influenced their sexual decisions. When interacting with their partners, these women expected mutual understanding regarding appropriate adjustments due to the disease. But, the self-doubt and the impact on partners after cancer diagnosis, added challenges to their emotional and sexual communication. Besides, women’s preexisting role expectations in sexuality, coupled with the lack of non-mainstream sexual paradigms and sexual health resources in Taiwan, created situations where breast cancer survivors faced difficulties in expressing their sexual concerns. In conclusion, this study proposes that future sexual health resources should be responsive to the needs of the new selves of survivors and the resources should be allocated catering to the various contexts. Also, expanding the definition of “normal” and creating spaces for discussion are more important than providing specific sexual knowledge at specific times. Lastly, it is also highlighted that providing support and assistance to the partners of breast cancer survivors also contributes to the sexual health outcomes of the survivors. | en |
