dc.description.abstract | 隨著ChatGPT帶起生成式AI的浪潮,相關的產業又再次被推上風口浪尖,期間最受大眾關注的莫過於企業如何訓練人工智慧,而訓練人工智慧的基礎:資料中心產業也因此成為發展趨勢。在此之際,資料中心算力產品的領導廠商NVIDIA,不只榮獲2023台北國際電腦大展COMPUTEX的2023 Best Choice Award 金獎,旗下產品也獲得Metaverse & XR Application 的獎項。一家以遊戲GPU創業起始點的廠商,如何在這30年間不斷挑戰新領域,持續創造歷史並成為資料中心、人工智慧解決方案的領導者?它的未來將又如何發展?是值得探討的主題。
本研究將藉由個案研究法藉由初級與次級資料的搜集,分析NVIDIA所處的人工智慧產業與市場趨勢、智慧晶片供應鏈、資料中心產業與未來以及NVIDIA在資料中心GPU市場遭遇的挑戰。此外,深入分析NVIDIA的成長、了解公司創業30年間做的決策與發展方向、解析NVIDIA如何透過軟硬體合作達成其他差異化策略,建構高效能生態圈吸引資料中心的客戶。此外,也將探討NVIDIA宣布投入雲端運算與生成式AI的新型態服務。 最後,本研究將透過策略分析,了解NVIDIA未來的發展趨勢,以及新型態雲端運算服務將得到的效益與風險,並提供未來與其他雲端運算服務廠商競爭的建議。 | zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | With the rise of ChatGPT and the surge in generative AI, the related industries have once again been thrust into the spotlight. The data center industry, which serves as the foundation for training AI, has become a growing trend. NVIDIA, the leading provider of data center computing power products, has not only won the 2023 Best Choice Award Golden Award at the COMPUTEX 2023 but also received accolades for its products in the Metaverse & XR Application category. How did NVIDIA, a company that initially started with gaming GPUs, continuously challenge new fields and become a leader in the data center and AI solutions over the past 30 years? What does its future hold? These are topics worth exploring.
This research will employ a case study approach, utilizing primary and secondary data collection, to analyze the artificial intelligence industry and market trends in the smart chip supply chain, the data center industry and its future, and the challenges NVIDIA faces in the data center GPU market. Furthermore, it will delve into an in-depth analysis of NVIDIA's growth, understanding the decisions and development directions the company has taken over its 30-year journey. The research will examine how NVIDIA has achieved differentiation through hardware and software collaborations, constructing an efficient ecosystem to attract data center customers. Additionally, it will explore NVIDIA's announcement of its foray into cloud computing and generative AI as new types of services. Finally, through strategic analysis, this research will provide insights into NVIDIA's future development trends and assess the benefits and risks of the new cloud computing services.
