摘要: | 半導體技術快速演進,本論文探討的目的在於分析ESD保護器件對於消費型電子產品的影響及未來的方向,如今物聯網及AI時代的來臨,推動各種既有、創意電子產品不斷的推出、更迭、問世,甚至跨進前所未見的全新汽車領域,這絕對是另一個類似行動通訊技術為全人類帶來生活上重大變革的開始,影響絕不是僅在於產品規格的改變,它帶來業界的衝擊是產品本質上的變革。
在這樣子的環境之下,唯一不變的是產業中這些智能產品的靜電衝擊威脅依舊,產生的後果依舊與產品成本、公司形象、企業獲利、市場競爭力等有著絕對的關係。未來,在競爭對手環伺的環境中,個案公司如何在靜電防護器件市場地位持續保持多年位處於領先的地位,本研究藉由分析個案公司的運營策略、行銷手法、研發方向、及產學合作等等的主客觀優劣勢進行探討,並且透過科學理性且不同面向的研究分析,提出具有建設性的研究數據及可行方案。 經研究發現,不管是過去或未來十年的預測,市場規模要持續成長,產品TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressors)的關鍵技術是能夠推進這塊領域市場成長的驅動力,可做為產業中業者的成長思考重要因素之一。再來,在產品規劃上應朝著多元化,及特性、成本差異化的方向前進,是維持TVS這塊產業競爭及穩定增長的要素。除了基本的產品層面考量,組織內的人事經驗值及高層的決策,也是決定產品是否可以成功策略性推向既有及新市場的關鍵。 本研究未來也可以做為TVS業者拓展至新興市場包含汽車、家電、公共安全等不同層面的思考及決策參考。 With semiconductor technology developing at a rapid pace, this paper aims to analyze the ESD protection parts’ influences on consumer electronic products and future directions. The arrival of the age of IoT (Internet of Things) and AI (artificial intelligence) has propelled constant introduction, iteration, and invention of various existing and creative electronic products, even venturing into the new field of automotive electronics. This is definitely the beginning of yet another major change in human life similar to the one brought by mobile communication technology, and the influences are not limited to changes in product specifications; it will impact the industry by revolutionizing the very nature of products. Under such circumstances, the only thing that remains unchanged is the threat of electrostatic impact on these smart products, and the consequences it brings are still absolutely correlated to product cost, company image, company profit, and market competitiveness. In the future, in a fiercely competitive environment, how can the case company continually maintain its long-term status as the industry leader in the market of ESD protection parts? This study will analyze the case company’s subjective and objective strengths and weaknesses, such as business strategy, marketing method, R&D direction, and academia-industry cooperation, and present constructive research data and feasible proposals through scientific, rational, and multi-aspect analysis. The study shows that, regardless of the past or forecast over the next decade, the driving force of market growth is key TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressors) technology of products, which can be an important growth factor to be considered by companies in the industry. Moreover, product planning should aim for diversification and differentiation of properties and cost, which are key elements sustaining the competitiveness and steady growth of the TVS industry. In addition to basic considerations on the product level, the organization’s level of experience and decision-making of senior executives are also crucial factors determining whether a product can be successfully and strategically introduced to existing or new markets. This study will also offer TVS companies some considerations and decision-making references on different levels for their future expansion into emerging markets like automotive, home appliances, and public security. |
