合著網絡對學術生產力所產生的外溢效果

Abstract

此篇論文旨在探討學術上共同作者的社會網絡與學術生產力之間的關係。我們採用兩種模型來估計學術合作對於學術生產力的外溢效果。空間自迴歸模型讓我們對此效果有初步的了解，然而卻可能存在網絡內生性的問題。因此，我們進而使用結構模型，同時考慮網絡互動與網絡生成過程，以修正在係數估計上的內生性誤差。結構模型同時也提供了反事實分析的功用，其結果顯示外溢效果對於共同作者網絡中合作關係的形成以及提升學術產量方面皆有相當大的影響。

This paper aims to investigate the relationship between co-authorship network and academic productivity. We use two models to estimate the spillover effect on productivity from academic collaboration. A spatial autoregressive model gives us a depiction of it but suffers from the potential network endogeneity problem. A structural model is then used to model both network interaction and network formation processes, correcting the endogeneity bias on the estimated coefficients, and making possible a counterfactual analysis. The counterfactual simulation result suggests that the spillover effect has a substantial impact on both forming network links and raising output level.
