| dc.description.abstract | "The Indian healthcare system, especially in smaller cities is marred with a myriad of issues with longer waiting times, inadequate diagnostic facilities, lack of access to service providers, supplier induced demand etc. to name a few. Post-Covid there has been a noticeable fall in the number of people accessing in-person consultation from doctors due to the risk associated with person-to-person contact. This Business plan is intended to introduce the middle-class and rich households to mobile healthcare services by connecting them to doctors, diagnostic services, and pharmaceutical stores through a mobile App. The Business enterprise will also have a service center which will come with its own equipment to connect people with the abovementioned services and educate them about the App as App-based healthcare delivery platforms are a recent phenomenon and are yet to penetrate well into smaller cities like Aligarh. The city of Aligarh will be the testing ground for the App, and if it becomes a success, then the operations will be scaled to other cities of similar size and eventually turn into a pan-India enterprise. The marketing efforts will mostly be online targeting users of Facebook and YouTube with campaigns endorsed by renowned local doctors. The business venture will be funded by the owner who will also act as the CEO with a fleet of 8 employees under him with services like, legal, accounting, HR, marketing outsourced to maintain a lean and cost-effective operation.
