摘要: | 在異質網路(Heterogeneous network or Hetnet)的節能研究中,有許多技術像是基站睡眠控制(base station sleeping control)、發射功率調整(transmit power adjustment)等等被探討,只是這些研究都只對一個瞬間的情形去做優化,理論上對每一個時間點都去優化可以得到不錯的結果,但是卻忽略了在實際上這種方法是不可能被實行的。舉例來說,像是基站睡眠控制,對每一個時間點都去做優化的結果,可能是基站需要頻繁的開關,但基站的開啟與關閉是需要時間的,不是能夠連續開關的。基站的連續開關也會造成使用者一直轉換到不同的基地台,而對網路服務提供者造成額外的負擔以及資料額外的overhead,這樣的結果也促使我們想要去找到一個實際上可行的節能方法。而在這篇work中,我們考慮到了通道的變化和使用者可以容忍的延遲時間,去對一段時間做優化,並在實驗結果中顯示了我們的演算法可以達到比較低的換手頻率以及在某些時候,可以達到更好的節能效果。 Researches on greenness of Heterogeneous network ( HetNet ) have focus on some of the topics like base station sleeping control (BSS), transmit power adjustment. Existing researches usually solve optimization problem per slot time, and may get a pretty good result, but in real world, results from these researches may not be practical. For example, switching base stations would take some time and can't be switching frequently in case of breaking down, but simulation results may need base stations to switch frequently. And frequently switching base stations will cause users have to switch among different BSs continually. However, this renders considerable operation burdens in practice. This insight motivates us to find a practical way to perform greenness of Heterogeneous network. In this paper, we address this by considering the green communication problem in HetNet with base station sleeping control and transmit power adjustment coordinated with multipoint transmission. In this thesis, we consider changing in wireless channel and user’s tolerance for delay to minimize total power consumption in a period of time. Simulation results have shown that our algorithm can reduce re-allocation frequency and in some cases, our results can even save more energy compare to other algorithms. |
