如何應用區塊鏈進行航空金融產業之數位轉型:以奇異公司為例

Abstract

航空金融產業由於開發中國家航空運輸需求持續攀升，全球廉價航空公司迅速成長，於是航空器融資需求與航空器交易數量增加，未來業務成長相當值得期待。隨著航空器交易量大增，航空器交還機予下一位承租人所需要執行之約務更新流程，大量航空器維修資料的處理，大量交易現金流的管理和大量租機合約談判等工作，都需要具有創新顛覆性科技方法來協助解決。現今熱門的分散式帳本技術或區塊鏈、智慧合約、人工智慧等金融科技應該可以有效解決這些挑戰，迎接未來更大量的業務成長。 本研究以奇異公司和其孫公司奇異航空金融服務公司之數位轉型為案例。從不同的面向，分析其數位化過程所採用的並歸納其數位轉型的寶貴經驗。 最後，透過探討區塊鏈，智慧合約和智聯網的應用服務，適配客戶需求和獲益方程式，建構數位轉型策略並發展新型態商業模式。未來期待能有機會研究證劵型代幣搭配資產擔保證劵在航空金融科技產業的應用。

In the rapid-growing aviation industry, the complexity and volume of transactions have been increasing dramatically. Therefore, it is critical for the industry to look for innovative financial exchange tools. Based on the newly-developed financial technology, distributed ledger technology and blockchain, this research aims to explore this issue using the case study methodology. The cases of GE Company and its subsidiary GE Capital Aviation Services was analyzed in detail to assess the digital transition of the aviation finance industry. Implication, limitation and future research directions are then discussed.
