摘要: | 「凡走過必留下痕跡、用痕跡創造奇績」,這句將「蹟」字改成「績」後的歇後語,相當傳神地說明了數位科技正在各行各業產生極大的變動。企業經營需要的是獨特的績效、而不是曇花一現的奇蹟,這種獨特的績效,會讓客戶與供應商的眼中只有你,競爭對手害怕你,合作或是互補夥伴需要你。過往經營者大多只能仰賴人們經驗來解讀營運痕跡所帶來的涵義,但在數位科技越過了實務應用的奇點後,大量的數據、模型、演算法與充沛的計算力,就在各行各業創造了許多顛覆以往做法的新應用。 化工產業是連續製造產業的代表,它的運作植基於相當高程度的自動化,也因而在工廠運作過程中產生了相當多的數據;因此,不論是以規模經濟生產為主的上游煉油石化工廠、或是小批高純度為主的下游化學品工廠,都給了數位科技萌芽成長所需的滋潤溫床。化工廠開啟運用數位科技建構獨特競爭力的巧門後,產業中的系統整合商也面臨了如何轉型成長的轉捩點;本文主要重點就是以化工產業為背景,以系統整合商為軸心,說明在數位科技的趨勢下,系統整合商轉型成長的三大策略:統包策略、平台策略與專長策略;統包策略擴大了系統整合商擅長工程整合的業務廣度,提供工廠業主在興建階段就能完成智能基礎建設的選項;平台策略則提供系統整合商與互補者運用智能方案進行協作的環境;專長策略讓系統整合商所需的軟體與工程人才,能夠以量化手法廣化管理面、深化技術面的能耐養成。本研究也探討如何運用經營管理的C-SOP架構,檢視系統整合商運用統包策略、平台策略、專長策略推動成長下的綜效。 'Every time you go, you will leave traces and use them to create unique performances.' In the Chinese sentence, after changing the word 'trace' to 'performance,' quite vividly illustrates that digital technology is making great changes in every industries. What a business needs is unique performance, not a miracle in a flash. This unique performance will make customers and suppliers see you only, competitors are afraid of you, and cooperation or complementary partners need you. Most operators in the past can only rely on people's experience to interpret the meaning learnt from the operation traces. However, after digital technology has surpassed the singularity of practical application, a large amount of data, models, algorithms and abundant computing power are in various lines. The industry has created many new applications that disrupt previous practices. The chemical industry is a representative of the continuous manufacturing industry. Its operation is based on a relatively high degree of automation, which has generated considerable data during the operation of the plant. Therefore, whether it is an upstream refining and petrochemical plant based on economies of scale, or a small batch of high-purity downstream chemical factories have given the nourishing hotbed needed for digital technology to sprout and grow. After the chemical plant opened the clever door to use digital technology to build unique competitiveness, the system integrators in the industry also faced a turning point in how to transform and grow. The main focus of this article is on the background of the chemical industry and the axis of system integrators. Under the trend of digital technology, the three major strategies for system integrators' transformation and growth: Turnkey Strategy, Platform Strategy, and Expertise Strategy. Turnkey Strategy expands the breadth of system integrators' expertise in engineering integration, and provides plant owners with the ability to complete during the construction phase for intelligent infrastructure; Platform Strategy provides an environment where system integrators and complementors use intelligent solutions to collaborate; Expertise Strategy allows software and engineering talents required by system integrators to broaden management skills and deepen technical aspects with quantitative methods. This research also explores how to use the C-SOP structure of business management, and examines the overall effects of system integrators using Turnkey Strategy, Platform Strategy, and Expertise Strategy to drive growth. |
