| zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | Peer grading methods have been broadly implemented in education nowadays. The role of evaluating a student’s assignments has transferred from teachers to students. As peer grading methods evolved, acquiring feedback is no longer limited to traditional face-to-face grading in classrooms, but has expanded to online peer grading systems, allowing students to flexibly grade their peer’s work anywhere, and at any time. Due to this trend, many researchers have published studies regarding the impact of peer grading on student’s learning performance.
The quality of peer feedback is critical if the goal is to enhance students’ learning performance by using peer grading. Therefore this study utilizes an online peer feedback system for students who enrolled in a Presentation and Communication Skills Course, and peer grading was implemented for class activities and assignments. The objective of this study is to analyze whether students’ provided quality of feedback was affected by the peer feedback they received. The peer grading data analyzed in this study was collected from the online peer feedback system, Analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) was used for quantitative analysis, and qualitative interview was implemented to further understand students’ mindset and to support the hypothesis in this study. In conclusion, there is significant effect of received feedback quality on provided feedback quality. | en |
